Description

Imagine a scared, traumatized puppy, who’s abuser looks like you (male/female, young/old, big/small...)

You know that you didn’t cause that trauma, and still your heart breaks for that puppy and you do your best to prove you are not that person the puppy sees you as.

It is easy to put yourself in that situation and have empathy for the puppy and grace for yourself

As humans, we do that everyday to each other, we just have more coping mechanisms at our disposal. We have more ways to hide and it’s easier to become defensive

Imagine giving humans in your life the empathy you’d give that puppy and imagine giving yourself that grace to know you aren’t the person you’re being seen as
