What does the term Rising Brave mean to you? Are you ready for Bravery and being Confident enough to take on the World?
The World is never too big to connect and technology continues to bring us together, one story at a time. Today’s guest, Gretel Jane is a Separation Coach and Trauma Therapist and shares her story all the way from Australia. Gretel Jane helps newly separated women navigate the confusion, stress and drama of separation so they can move past the pain, overwhelming and frustrating feeling to feel calm, confident and in control of a life they truly love.
Sometimes we have to be the student before becoming the best teacher.
Once Gretel Jane became aware of the domestic violent cycle she was living, survival mode kicked in and what was really painful at times, turned into a beautiful journey. She realized she was trying to make everything okay, and keep things calm for the kids, and not wanting to leave because of not wanting her children to come from a broken family.
Can you relate? Or do you know someone in that situation?
“Seek out support!”
She finally started to realize, “Hang on a minute they deserve and so to I, to live in a calm, happy household that doesn't have this level of stress.”
While not 100% aware, yet very numb and very much in survival mode, she knew something had to change!
Just one more violent episode and she was done! She packed up as much stuff as she could to get into the car and drove away, reminding herself, “I need to go, I need to go, I need to go!”
Gretel Jane discovered how to be brave herself after a 12 year abusive marriage. She knows the importance of the various stages a woman goes through after such abuse; Survival, Healing and Planning, thus the reason why she is so passionate about helping other separated and abused women.
Her life experiences and education has allowed her to create a three-stage Separation Triage Formula which resulted in “Rising Brave” being born. Her formula heals emotional pain, helps clients move out of self-doubt and reclaims their self-confidence and self-esteem leaving them stronger, more confident and ready to take on the world.
Listen to Gretel Jane share the details of the Triage Stages Formula.
“The wound is where the light enters you.”
She loves watching her clients develop resilience, be empowered and be the sun, even on a cloudy day.
“It’s the set of the sails, not the direction of the wind, that determines which way we will go.”
