What does Bible say about how Christians should honor the principle of one day of rest for every six days of work? We must say with Matthew 5:17 that Christ did not come to abolish the Law, He came to fulfill it. Christ fulfilled and thus abrogated the civil and ceremonial requirements of the Old Testament Law, but the moral law still stands. The fourth command to honor the Sabbath is part of the moral law.
