One of the major problems with the secular world is that it refuses to acknowledge that our Lord in heaven has absolute authority over every aspect of life. He has revealed His divine will in Scripture, and we are in physical, spiritual, and cultural peril because we have denied His authority and rejected His truth. Sadly, Israel was effectively in the same place during the time of Christ. They had the veneer of biblical religion, but the majority of them had rejected God's own Son.
