“It’s our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.” — Marianne Williamson, A Return To Love
In this conversation, Gregory and Vincent discuss the deep-seated fear that reigns in all of us: that of embracing our true greatness. To embrace our own greatness, we must admit to ourselves that what we want isn’t normal, nor is it what everybody else seems to want.
What we want isn’t secure or realistic, but it’s ours—our dream—and we owe it to ourselves to entertain that dream.
We feel that we aren’t worthy to live the life we truly wish to live, so we dim our own light in an effort to blend in, taking on the projections of others, instead of taking off our masks and shining as we are.
It isn’t our inadequacy, our shadow, our darkness that scares us most. It’s the light that’s begging to shine.
