What is Welcome Month at Humber College?
After you have attended Orientation and your Meet Your Faculty sessions, it’s time to get to know the Humber community and participate in some fun events for you to feel welcome at Humber!
The Orientation Team is hosting Welcome Month from September 8-30th which will be taking place virtually through Microsoft Teams and Humber First Year Experience’s Instagram @humberfyenorth and @humberfyelake. These events are all about community building, learning about the on-campus equity-hubs, and providing you with the essential information you’re going to need to succeed.
You may even want to take it a step further and learn about the ways that you can get involved at Humber. Getting involved at Humber teaches valuable skills about leadership and introduces you to people who may become your long-lasting friends.
Participate in Welcome Month events by tuning into our virtual events, interacting with other students online, learning about on-campus equity-hubs, and entering into awesome contests. Congratulations on starting your Humber journey, we’ll see you at Welcome Week!
