*NEITHER DO I CONDEMNED YOU*
_She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more_ . John 8:11(KJV)

In the days of Jesus Christ, as his ministries grow wider the more, the religious leaders sought for someone to use for their own means in order to trap Jesus. *They found this married woman who was caught in the very act of sexual immortality with someone other than her own husband* . The man she was caught in the very act of violating the sanctity of her marriage contract by immoral behavior with another man. As the religious leaders brought her to Jesus, He practically manifested the loving grace of God towards her. *All of us, both small of old deserved the wrath and condemnation of God because of sin, the religious leaders had forgotten that if God was to mark sin who will be justified also they had forgotten that all our righteousness is as filthy rags before the lord* . They were men who uphold the laws and Law says that sin must receive just punishment. Mercy, therefore, sets aside law for the moment in order to manifest the grace of God. God here forgives, and this is not the fact that God ignores the sins the woman had committed. *Who is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone,* he asked them and no one could stoned this woman (John 8:7-8), and they began to take their leave one by one, ordinarily in Jewish law, any one caught in the act of adultery is stoned to death. But Jesus disregarded every human law and manifested God's love towards this woman, not that he harbours sin. The fact remains that we who deserve his wrath are forgiven inspite of ourselves. Paul said, but God demonstrates his own love towards us, in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us ( Rom 5:8). The woman had sinned. Nevertheless, she received the forgiveness of a God who extends grace, while he said *''SIN NO MORE''.* The motivation of Christianity is practically based on grace. By grace are ye saved(Eph 2:8-10, 1Cor 15:10, 2Cor 4:15). God has extended great mercy towards us( Rom 3:24), it is only our natural response, therefore, to manifest mercy towards others. The behavior of our lives as Christian is motivated by the realization that we have been forgiven so much that we must not in any way condemn other rather to show love towards sinners. We must keep in mind that those who show no mercy towards sinners do not understand the nature of their wretchedness while in sin(Matt 18:21-35, James 2:13). Beloved, will you at this point respond to the saving grace of God which God bestowed upon his only begotten son of the father who is full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ is ready to forgive you and to accept you into the beloved, all you need do is to acknowledge your sinful life in humility and confess them. I pray as you deeply response to this call, the saving grace of God will locate you in Jesus name. Amen
