*THE POWER OF EXPECTATIONS*
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. Prove 23:18(KJV).
Good morning beloved and welcome to living seeds devotional. Today's devotional charge is titled the power of expectation. Why do we have several prayer requests which remain unanswered today, why do we have several prayer requests that does not go beyond the roof of the church building or mountains despite asking in faith. This is due to lack of expectation. Several christian prayed without expectation, they labour in the place of prayer and yet lack expectation. Expectation on the altar of prayer and fasting is an ingredient, catalyst and a mystery to answer prayer. One power that God gives to every believers is the power of expectation. Expectations is what you are hoping and believing God to do for you, The mystery of asking and receiving answers to our request required the installation of expectation in our mind. When you pray you need to be in expectant of what you pray for. There are several and great promises of God in the scripture, activating this promises of God is very important and expectation is what will take a delivery of them. Your power in the place of receiving answers to your prayers is Expectations. Many claims that they have prayed yet no result, what is lacking is expectations. Expectation is what set the pace for your distinction and destinations. It is not enough to pray and fast, you must be in expectant of what you have prayed for. There is a turnaround testimony you need while on the altar of prayer and fasting and expectations is what guarantee this turnaround testimony. expectation is what guarantee your testimony. The strength of intercession and supplication without expectation is a waste of time. There are mystery you need to understand. 1. Your desires shall not cut off (Prov 10:24). 2. You must be ready to wait and be in expectant of your prayer requests (Psalm 62:5), 3. Your expectation cannot be cutoff (Prov 24:14), 4. You need patience in the place of prayer (Hebrew 10:36). 5. When you pray, Believe that your expectation has been granted (Heb 11:6 Mark 11: 24). It is what you expect that is manifested and experienced. You will never see the manifestation of what you don't expect from God. And thine expectation shall not be cut off. I decree today that your desires and expectation shall be answered in the name of Jesus.
