This week Lindsay is joined by Madeline McIntyre. The two discuss college athletics, transitioning into your first career, and then conquering what's next. This conversation is super inspirational and gives great insight on how you can use athletics to continue to push and motivate yourself and keep that competitive edge throughout your life.
Madeline McIntyre comes to TwentyTwo after a long sting with the Ohio State Athletics Department. There, she played for the Ohio State softball team from 2011-16 as a three time captain, earned a bachelor’s, master’s and MBA, and began he career as a fundraiser following a professional softball career in Italy. Her passion for building relationships, bringing people together and leading created an opportunity to start the Eugene D. Smith Leadership Institute. Both an honor and a chance to create something that will stand the test of time, the Institute impacts student-athletes as they assess their life after sports. In addition, she was responsible for the $20M capital raise for a new lacrosse stadium and $10M endowment for the Institute over the course of her tenure at Ohio State. Madeline will take her desire to empower people and build successful business ventures in her current role with TwentyTwo, as she manages all the portfolio companies strategy, growth and success within TwentyTwo.
