Many times, we mustn’t, as the saying goes, judge a book by its cover. It’s easy to be misled by first impressions and to think someone/something is one thing, but in reality, it’s completely different. The first of these stories will be an Indonesian fable called “The Woodcarver’s Love.” Then, the story “Princess Flowerpot,” a Japanese tale, will bring us into a world of a prince who meets a young girl cursed by an angel… or that’s what she thinks.
