When the gospel of Matthew begins, we see the equivalent of a lavish introduction to the main event. Angelic visitations begin to break out and the voice of God is being heard again; it’s not isolated like before. There’s excitement; there’s hope in the air. God’s nature is about to be reclaimed! His heart is about to seen again for what it had always been! Jesus is on the scene!
