It’s a new year! And many are taking a pause to look at their health. But it’s about more than just your physical body.  It’s a mental and emotional game as well.  In her book, Run in Uncharted Direction, Jess Silver chronicles her journey as a woman with cerebral palsy on a mission to raise the awareness of adaptive fitness and sports.

Jess Silver is a Communications professional, Amazon Bestselling Author of her memoir entitled Run: An Uncharted Direction,  Medical Writer and Editor,  with a diverse in the communications and journalistic industry and Founder of Flex for Access, a Registered Non-Profit Organization with a global social media presence for adaptive fitness promotion and sport in the mainstream.  She uses her lived experience as an individual with Cerebral Palsy to coach, consult with our individuals with similar neurological conditions, on the importance of using fitness and sport as means of creating capacity for improvement of conditions like CP. Jess trains daily to manage adversity both physical and emotional and her goals for Flex for Access Inc., are grounded in the personal vision to create societal change in perception of physical disabilities, injuries and limitations through creating opportunities for access to mainstream fitness and sport. She also is a motivational speaker and adaptive fitness consultant and coach.
