Liz is a mental health advocate, fashionista, podcast host, and the biggest Kimye fan you will ever meet. On today's episode, we get real about the fact that we've all made mistakes and that, honestly, we all deserve to be "cancelled". However, we believe that we've all got two choices on how we can move past our mistakes: 1) we can listen and learn & seek out ways to become better versions of ourselves or 2) we can stay stuck in the past, lesser version of ourselves, never evolving or improving. Liz and I believe that people deserve to grow, and that that growth starts from within. If we can't find ways to manage our minds and speak kindly to ourselves, then why would others speak to us any differently??
As mentioned in this week's intro, I highly recommend listening to Season 3, Episode 1 of Liz & her co-host Sarah's podcast, "It's Fine, I'm Fine" before getting into today's episode. Their episode entitled "Cancel Culture" brings further insight and clarity into some of the topics Liz and I will touch on today.
