In today’s episode, I sit down with Karys Bryant, a rising sophomore and biomedical sciences student at Texas A&M University, to debunk some of the most common misconceptions about being premed.

Karys Bryant is a compassionate, driven and curious individual with a strong passion for the medical field and helping others. She is a sophomore pre-med student at Texas A&M University majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Spanish for the Health Professions. She is hoping to attend medical school after she obtains her bachelor's degree. She currently works at an urgent care clinic, where she gains hands-on experience in patient care and clinical settings. This role has deepened her passion for medicine and strengthened her commitment to serving diverse communities. She is also an active member of her sorority Kappa Delta, where she enjoys building leadership skills, supporting philanthropy, and forming lifelong connections.
