In today's episode, I sit down with Katie Collins, a rising sophomore at the University of Missouri studying veterinary medicine, to talk about what it’s like attending college out of state and the unique experiences and demands that come with pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.Katie Collins is a curious, intelligent, and compassionate young woman who is studying at the University of Missouri. She is majoring in animal science with a minor in captive wild animal management. Katie spends her mornings in an exotic veterinary clinic interning and learning all about veterinary medicine and her afternoons teaching children to swim. At school, she is a devoted member to Alpha Kappa Psi (a business fraternity), Kappa Alpha Theta, and the Pre-Vet Club.
