Description

This week, Taylor and Paola bring you another "Google Diaries" in which Paola actually finds her search history and Taylor's culinary debacles continue!  Then, your study buddies bring you a study entitled: The Alleged “Ferguson Effect” and Police Willingness to Engage in Community Partnership, where we explore police reactions to media in the wake of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.  Does negative media attention and police distrust make it less likely for police to respond to crime?  Let's see what this study suggests.

We close out our episode today with a new segment called "Little Epiphanies"  We can't wait for you to hear it!

Our research today is brought to you by Scott E. Wolfe from University of South Carolina and Justin Nix from University of Louisville.  You can find the study here: https://doi.apa.org/doiLanding?doi=10.1037%2Flhb0000164

For ways to support the BLM movement, please visit https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/# and take the time to learn and share with others.  Your voices, your actions, your hearts, all matter.  Learn more about how to stand in solidarity in the ongoing fight against racism.
