Caroline shares her journey with her mother, Margaret, a beloved family physician, who was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) at age 59. Caroline opens up about what this journey has been like, grieving her mother and best friend while she is still living, and also managing the 800 mile distance between them.
We spend a good deal of this episode talking about transitioning a loved one into residential care. We know this is a topic that comes up a lot in our community so definitely be sure to listen if that has been a part of your journey.
Caroline also came on to promote the FTD Hot Shot Challenge, a viral campaign to raise awareness for FTD, so make sure to check that out HERE.

Remember Me is a podcast created by two moms who became fast friends on Instagram while caregiving for their parents. It features stories of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) with a focus on remembering individuals for who they were before the disease. The stories shared are raw, real, and so full of love. We hope it inspires you to "accept the good."
