The Clovis Concord has set a Ruthless Marquis Family Headed by the Patriarch Gregore Von Weis. With the goal in mind of crushing of the smaller guilds and consolidate his power as well as wealth. This has created an increase in Pirate activity and frustration with the lesser guilds who find themselves making deals with freelancers, Mercs and the Marquis beginning to bleed them dry. Tharivol a Firbolg Captain of Notorious Reputation has called upon the guilds to abandon the Clovis Concord and join him in blocking, raiding as well as force terms of agreement upon Gregore and his factions.
All of the Menagerie Coast has been plunged into chaos as the politics of the Marquis, the influence of Empire clash with the ever growing threat of a Pirate threat. We begin in the Spring as Tharivol has called all those oppressed by the Marquis to join him at the Atoll of the Wretch for the opening of the Revels a special celebration that pirates share in before setting off on the busy season of raiding the Marquis Fleets and their allies.
