This week at The Film Club we're talking about the Stanley Kubrick Noir film, The Killing. The film is about Johnny Clay who after being released from prison decides to plan a heist with a group of five other men. The heist that takes place at a horse racing track will be worth 2 million dollars if the men can successfully pull it off. Johnny plans everything to a T but his team aren't criminals like he is so things could easily crash and burn. Johnny and the men all have reasons why they need the money but things take a turn when one of the men tells an outsider their secret plan. Can the group successfully pull off the heist without a hitch? Or will Johnny and his team fail to make a killing at the track? Join us as we dive into the world of The Killing.
