This week at The Film Club we're talking about Vertigo! The film tells the story of Scottie who is a Detective but retires after a fellow coworker dies after chasing a fugitive and in this tragic accident Scottie gets Acrophobia. Scottie is determined to fix his Acrophobia and also find things to do in his new retired life when he's suddenly approached by an old college friend for investigative help. Scottie reluctantly helps surveil his friend's wife but while he's watching her Scottie begins to develop feelings. Things take a tragic turn and Scottie goes flying off the rails of sanity. But not all is as it seems when a new lady by chance enters Scotties life. Can the past be revived? Or is Scottie just an obsessive compulsive person? Join us as we dive into the world of Vertigo.
