This week at The Film Club we’re talking about the Clint Eastwood neo-noir film, Tightrope! The film follows New Orleans Police Detective Wes Block who is investigating a string of murders . The victims are all prostitutes and Wes must figure out how each victim is connected. Wes begins interviewing prostitutes and people who work with them after the first initial murder and it sets off a chain reaction where the people he interviews are suddenly murdered not too long after. The stakes are raised higher when the murderer discovers where Wes lives and targets his family.
