This week at The Film Club we're continuing our Director's Spotlight on the films of Quentin Tarantino with his first Grindhouse collaboration, Death Proof. Death Proof tells the story of a former Stuntman (Stuntman Mike) who stalks groups of women and murders them with his Death Proof car. A group of female friends crosses paths with Stuntman Mike at a bar and by the end of the night the friends don't survive. After Stuntman Mike recovers from his attack he acquires a new Death Proof car which puts him back on the hunt again and he finds a new group of women to chase. Can this new group of friends survive an encounter with Stuntman Mike? Or will Stuntman Mike's terror on four wheels continue to wreak havoc? Join us as we dive into the world of Death Proof.
