A saw a quote yesterday by Julie Lythcott-Haims, the author of How To Raise An Adult and it prompted the episode today. I was fortunate to hear her speak at a parenting event I attended a couple of years ago and she was / is nothing short of brilliant. It is so vital that we equip our kids with the life skills they need and not "helicopter" around them, with the best of intentions, of course.
