In this first video podcast, we introduce the history of Queer Museum as a non-formal educational tool within the experiential learning programmes Active Rainbow organizes, as well as introducing its current format, as Queer Museum Riga, and its 2025 edition taking place within Riga Pride 2025. The Queer Museum Riga is taking place within the Pride Begins ESC Volunteering project, which brings together 10 volunteers from around Europe to do their one-month volunteering experience with Active Rainbow organization and assist in the organization of Riga Pride activities Active Rainbow organizes.The Queer Museum Riga this year is taking place between 16th - 30th of June. It's supported by Riga Pride, Association LGBT and their friends Mozaika and the Kanepes Kulturas Centrs, which is the venue where the exhibitions will be hosted.
