Just ask Hayley Henning she is the CEO and Founder of Characters.IO A company dedicated to providing premier party characters for kids parties & events. She launched the company at age 19, taking the concept from a single location to a successful 21-location company that performs thousands of character appearances nation-wide. To make ends meet in college, Hayley spent countless hours entertaining clients all over Southern California as various princess characters. After receiving a large following between 2009-2012, Hayley began hiring other performers to service the growing demand for characters at events. By 2013, Characters.IO was servicing 250 parties a weekend in SoCal. She joined me this week to discuss how she continues to find energy to do this work at a high level.
