Every year, approximately 200,000 men and women leave U.S. military service and return to life as civilians, a process known as the military to civilian transition. According to the Veterans Affairs Administration. Therefore, the question is how can soldiers make a measurable impact once they return home?
Soldiers To Sidelines is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping military members pursue a career in coaching youth, high school, collegiate and pro sports.
Harrison Bernstein Founder and Executive Director at Soldiers to Sidelines joined me this week to tell me more about how the camaraderie of sports is building upon mutual trust and respect amongst soldiers, the players they coach, as they work together towards a shared common goal, and the pursuit of the maximum individual and collective potential.
