Talaya Dendy, the Cancer Doula, is a nine-year cancer thriver and founder of On the Other Side, an organization that is dedicated to providing personalized support and resources that address emotional, navigational, educational, and practical needs of people living with cancer. All of which help cancer patients take charge of their health and live a vibrant life in spite of cancer. Many times, the cancer is treated but the whole person is not treated and cared for. Talaya uses her personal experience to help bridge the gap between the emotional and medical sides of cancer.
