In this episode I talk with American Airlines pilot Eric Palsson about his 20+ years in aviation. His wife, Cheri, joins us to give her perspective on his career and the way it influenced their family life. Eric comes from a family in pilots, but graduated with a degree in accounting from the U of U. Only three weeks into their marriage, Eric told Cheri he felt being a pilot was the career he actually wanted. We'll talk about how he made the switch, the disruptions 9/11 and COVID have had on his career, his advice for people considering flight school, and just how he manages those hour flights across the world.
