When Emily Abel started journalism classes at Utah State University, it didn’t feel like the right fit. But after a few different try’s she settled on Technical Communications. Today, Emily shares what helped her prepare for her job as an associate editor of LDS Living on-line magazine. She also breaks down the writing process and the value of a good editor. Finally, Emily shares an experience she had interviewing a Syrian refugee that led her to getting the story published through LDS Charities.
