Shayne and Kristen Bowler are the owners of Utah Natural Meat, a small farm in West Jordan, Utah, committed to raising animals the natural way. They combine organic practices, including using a grass only diet free of added grains, antibiotics or hormones, with modern technology, like hydroponics, to help their animals thrive and produce healthy meat and dairy products. The Bowler's graciously invited me to tour their farm, observe their animals, and browse their store to see the variety of products they offer. This on-sight interview is full of the challenges and reward of a career in natural farming.
