This week we are moving into Hebrews Chapter 12. After giving a “history of faith,” the author tells his church, "it’s our turn now.” He tells us they ran their race, and now we need to run ours.
If you’ve ever gone out for a run you know this isn’t easy. It implies training and pain and enduring. But the work is worth it because we have a forerunner who endured the cross in our place. This motivation allows us to move forward, slowly but surely.
This series has been a gift to me personally, and I pray it has for you as well. I look forward to continuing to learn with you.
