“Good morning boys and girls. I hope you’re enjoying this great day that has been given to us as much as I am.” She smiled and her face was beautiful. “Now today we have a choice of stories that can take us away.” She lifted her eyebrows inviting the room to go with her on an adventure. “Dr. Zeus decided to write a book for us entitled Green Eggs and Ham. It was very good of him to think of us up here, don’t you think? I also have some poems that a lady named Beatrix Potter penned. She had no idea that we’d be gathered this morning to read them, but I don't think she’d mind. And finally I have our novel – Robert Louis Stevenson wrote this book so many many years ago. I’ll give a brief recap of Treasure Island for those who weren’t here the last number of weeks to get them up to speed and then as quick as you can say Long John Silver, I’ll pick up our story and take us off to the high seas. If I recall correctly Jim was in a bit of a pickle with an unsavory character named Ben Gunn.”
