Tom and Jay continue their deep dive into the world of David Lynch with what he calls his most experimental film, but this film has no absurd musical numbers, no film dissecting montages and all in all very little oddness about it – “The Straight Story” may very well be Lynch’s ‘straightest’ film. Jay and Tom talk all about this outlier in the Lynch cannon as both of them watch it for the first time.
