We conclude Meryl-Mania with a discussion on the powerhouse film “Doubt”, adapted to the screen by John Patrick Shanley, from his own play. Starring in star turns all four of its leads; with Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Amy Adams and the incomparable Phillip Seymour Hoffman. This segues into a discussion on our overall favourite Meryl films discussed in the fortnight, aswell as a discussion about whether or not Meryl is actually the best part of her best films. It’s a fun one today on Carruthers, Leggetter and Whoever.
