The Woody fortnight continues on still with the exceptional 'Hannah and her sisters' from 1986. It won Michael Caine his first Oscar, as well as Dianne Wiest’s first, as well as adding another screenplay win to Woody’s long list of awards nominations and wins (not that he cares about them). It’s a great family saga movie with a truly brilliant ensemble cast and above everything else. It’ll make you laugh and it’ll make you contemplate the meaning of life – how many movies with slapstick jokes can you really say that about?
