We begin another fortnight long celebration of a marvellous artist with a selection of films written by our first screenwriter in the spotlight, William Goldman. The essayist, author and screenwriter is one of Tom’s great idols and what better way to start off this celebration of his contributions to film with his Oscar winning screenplay for the 1969 western classic, 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'. The movie is timeless and the two lead performances are still the finest distillation of on-screen charisma available. So, enjoy this masterful film again and enjoy the boys discussing it.
