Think about this: Your entire life, you've been told that you need to 'work hard to succeed'. This is a lie.

You CAN make it hard, you CAN make it a struggle, but that is completely optional.

Does success need for you to take action? Yes.

Does success take time? Yes.

Does success need for you to gain new skills, use new tools, learn new things? Yes.

But why does it need to be hard? Why does it need to be a struggle?

The answer is because when you were a child, your elders, your parents, your mentors gave you the advice that you need to work hard for success. It's been engrained in your mind, and it has trained you to that it WILL be hard, so therefore your subconscious has a tendency to want to avoid success.

Just like the movie 'Inception', this priming of our mind that it will be hard, is what makes it hard. Our mind wants to avoid success because it THINKS it will be hard and is looking for the shortest possible path, which moves us further from the mark.

In this episode of Mindset Hackers, I will dive into 5 steps that you can take to erase the programming that is making it so hard to succeed.

There is a 6th tip that I did not mention on the podcast and that is to stop labeling work as 'hard'. Your mind does not want to do things that are hard, but most of us who are driven are excited by a challenge.

Reframe: challenge > hard.

Get rid of these words as well: hustle, grind, struggle.

Time to start reprogramming your mindset to 'let it be easy'.
