Description

This week we’re getting personal with television presenter and journalist Jake Humphrey. You’ll recognise him from BBC Sport’s coverage of Formula 1 Grand Prix, presenting BT Sport football, and covering the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics. These days he also hosts the High Performance Podcast with Professor Damian Hughes, where he delves into the lives of high-achieving, world-class performers.

Jake joined us this week to chat about how emotions have played a role in his life, both personally and professionally. We take a moment to step back and discuss everything from handling social media trolls, the fear behind presenting a sports show to millions, what happens when things go wrong, being a father and the pain that comes with losing family members before their time.

Thank you so much to Jake for taking the time to speak to us, you can listen to his podcast here and find him on Instagram here
