Meet tree whisperer, systems healer and author Louise Marra.
Louise is an artist of the invisible, a tree whisperer, a navigator, a systems healer, and a Living Bridge, and she is doing some fascinating and very unique work with trees in her home country of New Zealand.
Louise has held senior leadership and governance roles within government, the private sector, philanthropy, and the NGO sector, she's also been an advisor to the NZ Prime Minister. She has studied collective and intergenerational trauma for many years and now runs her own company, Unity House. Louise also is a founder of the Emerge Institute, a catalyst for the Center for Social Impact, and for twelve years was the director of the New Zealand leadership program.
Plus, she's the author and founder of ReRoot: The Nature of Change Through the System of Trees, a social enterprise, program, and book aimed at creating a new world from a connected place with the Earth, across species, and with each other.
Just wait until you hear about her relationship with books, the titles that made it - just! - to her Ten Best List!, and why she once (scandalously) tossed a book across the room... oh my! Is that an unforgivable crime?
