Description

Keith Ogelsby, a Vicor with the Episcopal church in Ponte Vedra, Florida, recently participated in his 1st trip to Cuba. He went to Cuba to continue building and supporting a relationship of many years, with his home church and the community of Guira, Cuba.  Being a smaller, more remote city, these communities receive much less support, financially or spiritually. Groups which participate in these partnerships facilitate on-going efforts of the church and its surrounding communities. One tangible result of their long-term partnership is a purified water system, which supports a much larger community of people in need of potable water.  In light of seeing others’ challenges, Keith also recognizes how much we have to receive from the Cuban people.

Listen to the importance of building mutually beneficial relationships and engaging in projects, such as a water filtration project, benefitting the larger communities.
