Description

We're back with Season 2 of the Better Employee Podcast. Joining us in this episode is Jared Olsen, HR disruptor and current Head of Customer Success at Motivosity. I spoke with him back in December about his life and the many lessons he’s learned over the years—as an HR leader, as a father, and as an influential voice in the Utah business community. A main takeaway for me from our conversation: most leaders are bad at performance management because we've been conditioned to identify what's wrong first, rather than seek opportunities to praise our employees for the many things they do right. We are in a powerful position to build up and mentor our people, and there are very good business reasons for doing so.
