Ok my friends, let's talk about being an introvert and still building a successful practice.
When I first started my career as an advisor, I did it ALL. Everything I was "supposed to do."
🙅 going to networking events & trying to get business cards
🙅 blasting messages on Facebook to old friends / colleagues
🙅 cold calling chamber of commerce people
🙅 hitting up my alma matter on LinkedIn
🙅 telling myself “okay, you gotta ask for referrals in every meeting this week!”
… etc. etc. You name it, I did it.
And, I saw results. I mean, you throw enough spaghetti at the wall, something usually sticks.
But, I was miserable. Like, really, really burnt out.
Maybe you're here with me (burnt TF out) or maybe you're just kinda tired of the rat race of go go go every damn day.
And I learned -- for me -- that I was so burnt out because I was doing so many activities that were sapping my energy every day.
