In the wake of the California wildfires, I had a conversation with Sunrise organizer Mariela Gandara from their hub in the San Fransisco Bay Area. We talked about the devastation she witnessed, what the Green New Deal could potentially do for Americans and the role young people can play in the fight against climate change.
