Festivus returns with UConn Football Legendary QB Shane Stafford co-hosting. We evaluated the college football playoffs overall and the National Championship. Ohio State was clearly the better team and had outstanding athletes. Notre Dame won a tough battle against Penn State, upset Georgia, and defeated a tough Indiana team; all it took for me was watching Ohio State dismantle #1 Oregon. Every time I looked up, they scored again. Notre Dame has tremendous upside, but Ohio State, with their 20 million dollar NIL money, showed Championships can be bought.

We also review the NFL playoffs,  talk about what the Vikings should do with Sam Darnold, the Jets hiring Aaron Glen, and what comes next for QB Aaron Rogers. He has been paid his fully guaranteed money, but cutting him will result in a 49.5 million dollar cap hit, even if he ends up retiring. They aren't in a position to draft a top quarterback, so I suggested trading back and taking Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord, filling some holes with extra draft picks.

We both felt that the Bill's playcalling against the Chiefs was poor, and it was heartbreaking to see them lose in the AFC Championship.

We also make our early Superbowl picks.
