The 14th overall pick in the 2014 is in the midst of recovering from Tommy John Surgery. Beede chose Vanderbilt over going to the MLB out of high school after being the 21st overall selection in the 2011 MLB Draft. After getting drafted by the Giants in 2014, the right-handed did not make it to the big leagues until 2018.
