Hello and welcome to another Film Flashbacks episode, on the Auteur Archives podcast. The basic format is, each episode we select a year at random, talk briefly about that year in movies, our least favourites, our Top 5, along with some honourable mentions and recommendations. This time around we take a look at the year of 2001 - a year in which the the world witnessed the shocking events unfold in New York when the Twin Towers were attacked, the world's largest greenhouse the Eden Project was opened in Cornwall, Apple released the first version of the iPod and Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott punches a protester for throwing an egg at him. But it was also a great year for movies!
