Hello and welcome to another Film Flashbacks episode, on the Auteur Archives podcast.
The basic format is, each episode we select a year at random, talk briefly about that year in movies, our least favourites, our Top 5, along with some honourable mentions and recommendations. This time around we take a look at the year of 2013 - a year in which saw Alex Ferguson retire as football manager after 27 years with Man Utd, 'Ding Dong The Witch is Dead' reaches no.10 in the music charts after the passing of Margaret Thatcher, American TV Series Breaking Bad aired it's final ever episode and various supermarkets were forced to withdraw their beef products after being informed they were contaminated with horse meat. But it was also a great year for movies!
