The legendary Marley Marl joined us in Ikebukuro for an extra long and informative episode! He shared more about his personal life and opinions on the industry than we've seen anywhere else. From his second home here in Nagasaki to his daughter not knowing about his impact in hip-hop history. We also talked about several facets of the music industry including his opinion on P. Diddy's sampling ethics, hip-house music, Bambaataa's sexual misconduct allegations, as well Marley and Mr. Magic's WBLS Rap Attack radio show absolutely wrecking Red Alert and Chuck Chillout on a weekly basis.
Also in studio we had infamous dance luminary, Brooklyn Terry, of the Elite Force crew on the 3rd mic. Both he and Marley offered really incredible insight into the emerging golden era of the late 80's hip-hop scene.
