Benson13歲時隨家人移民美國，畢業於加州大學經濟管理Managerial Economics。還在學時就開始進行設計創作，畢業後設立自己的服飾設計品牌The Imaginary Zebra，在2015年時也開發了Work Hard Anywhere手機應用程式。
