For Americans, the month of June has two holidays in it—Flag Day and Juneteenth—both of which are based on love of country and love of freedom. But in our post-Christian culture, those two days take a back burner to the entire month of June which has been commandeered by the popular culture for the purpose of “pride,” specifically the celebration of sexuality that stands in opposition to biblical ethics. In this episode, the God and Government team takes a public stand in favor of the Bible’s teachings on what is proper sexual expression and examines the scriptural basis for opposing the sins of pride and sodomy. Scripture references include Proverbs 16:18, Leviticus 18:19-23, and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
